A Little About Us
All our staff are enhanced level DBS checked ahead of employment as part of our safer recruitment process.
Staff receive a thorough induction and complete all relevant training suitable to their role to be able to meet the needs of our young people, effectively and safely.
Our staff are trained to be able to meet the following needs:
- PEG Feeding
- Moving and handling
- Medication
- Epilepsy including Buccal Midazolam training
- Autism and learning disabilities

I have worked work adults and children with disabilities for the last 10 years. I’m extremely passionate about young people receiving the right support and being empowered to make decisions about their own care. I have a 14 year old son with Autism, ADHD and OCD so I understand and empathise with parents on a personal level. When I am not at Thrive I like to spend my spare time out walking with my dogs and binge watching Greys Anatomy.
